An occupational therapy driving assessment determines whether a medical condition, disability or age-related change is affecting a person’s ability to drive safely — and, wherever possible, identifies what will keep them driving.

Theraprise provides mobile OT driving assessments across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. We assess using the recognised OT-DORA framework, against the national Assessing Fitness to Drive (2022) standards applied by VicRoads.

 

At its core, every assessment is built on two parts — an off-road clinical session and an on-road practical drive — which form the basis of the wider process.
